The Dartmouth Festival of Tantra & Healing Arts The festival provides both newcomers and ‘alternative’ enthusiasts a spiritual break, an opportunity for some festive shopping or just a visit into town to listen to a band and dance the day and night away. We aim to create a lively festival with an intimate, friendly atmosphere. We have exclusive use of The Flavel which is a modern, imaginatively designed arts centre in the middle of town featuring a shopping bazaar, musicians, talks, demos and complementary therapists to pamper and heal. In addition to a range of non-tantra workshops (t'ai chi, yoga, 5 Rhythms) we are offering a number of tantra workshops for beginners through to advanced Tantrikas. The UK's leading tantra schools will be facilitating these workshops, making this festival a truly unique event. We have exclusive use of The Royal Castle Hotel which has 25 beautifully appointed bedrooms and is the venue for our Saturday Gala Dinner and the Late Night Tantra Party. For those interested in learning more about Tantra prior to the festival, we are running a number of taster events, including one in London. Dartmouth is a historic town on the South Devon coast and home to the Britannia Royal Naval College. It has been described as the Jewel of the South Hams and sits on the mouth of the River Dart. The town has much to offer with a wide range of shops, restaurants and crafts and arts galleries. Locally know as Hampstead by the sea! Outside of Dartmouth there are numerous coastal and river walks to enjoy and we are a short drive away from Totnes, an ancient market town. Travel is easy. Totnes is a short bus or taxi ride away and has numerous direct buses & trains from the rest of the UK. Exeter & Plymouth Airports have an extensive regional network and are both within a one hour drive of Dartmouth.
