Both BDSM & Tantra invites us to follow the path of pleasure.

In their book Radical Ecstasy, Dossie Easton & Janet Hardy  say; “What does Tantra have to do with BDSM? The answer we discovered is everything.  What we found was that the people in Tantra workshops were travelling to ecstasies that felt just like our SM ecstasies, only using different techniques.  They were climbing the same mountain up a different side” .

Our workshop will look at this mountain, explore the similarities betweenTantra and BDSM and introduce techniques to open the energy flow. An athlete talks about being ‘in the zone’. We are exploring the same place.

We will look at the Chakra system, kundalini energy, the relationship between pain and pleasure, how a Sub/Dom scene evolves and its relationship with the Yin Yang energy used in Tantra. 

This event is open to singles and couples, regardless of age gender or sexual preference.  You will be required to undertake partner work.  It is not for beginners and participants will either have previously undertaken a Tantra workshop or be members of a fetish or BDSM club. There will be no direct sexual contact and all exercises can be done fully clothed.   The session will involve massage, using a variety of techniques, breath work and some limited use of play equipment.

The workshop starts at noon and ends at 1900 with a break mid afternoon. 

Participants can change on arrival to their preferred clothing which should allow for free movement as the workshop will include dancing, stretching, sitting and lying down.

Club Subversion will be hosting its regular monthly event late into the night.  Workshop participants can embrace the evening with their new found Tantric skills.
