Couples
TantraBound offers a bespoke two on two training, be it gaining a clearer understanding of your relationship, working as a team, sailing the high seas or us acting as surrogates, taking you clubbing and exploring the ‘other world’ in a safe and consensual manner. Sexual union is not part of our service.
Our 2010 couples program includes a 10 day Tantric Sailing Adventure from London to Amsterdam.
Is God a man?
Our current culture worships male energy. Religion, politics and sport are male dominated. To be recognised and successful in our patriachal society, woman have had to adopt stereotypically male modes of behaviour.
Yet for thousand of years prior to the relatively recent emergence of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, the Great Goddess ruled.
As men became aware of their role in childbirth, the Phallus became a focus of worship. Their strength began to rule. Greece and India (Lord Shiva) led the way and between 400BC and 600AD the three monotheistic religions were established that have ruled ever since. All these religions can be traced back to the mythological patriarch Abraham (Abraham was a bit of a cad. He traded his wife, pretending she was his sister, to the Pharaoh’s harem to protect himself – Richard Dawkins, the God Delusion)
These three religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam have led the way in the suppression of woman. These prejudices are still ingrained in our everyday existence.
Tantra in history
Tantra predates Abraham and his followers. Symbols of Tantric heritage can be found from Stone Age drawings to the temples of ancient India. Paganism was based upon the celebration of creative sexual energy. In many culture the male and female genitals (lingam & yoni) are revered for the creative power they represent.
However with the growth of the Abrahamic religions tantra was forced underground. Tantrica’s were associated with witchcraft, black magic and the devil. From the 12th century onwards many woman were burned, drowned and the rest for just being a sexual being.
The Alchemists of medieval Europe were often a cover for the underground tantric movement.
The tantra movement remained largely unheard of until the swinging 60’s and the emergence of an Indian guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho).
From India to California, to Britain and the rest. It is safe to say that all the Tantra Schools in the United Kingdom today have their lineage with Osho. We have all completed our training with such schools.
What do we do?
We offer a confidential coaching service (we are not therapists) aimed at providing a clearer understanding of how relationships work and hopefully providing you with some of the tools and building blocks to make changes. We work closely with all the UK leading tantra schools and our advice may simply be to undertake training with one of these schools. We do not favour any school as they all provide different forms of tuition and as such a different experience.
What do we charge?
An initial 2 ½ hour, consultation consists of three 40 minute sessions and one 30 minute session including short breaks.
Part one is all four of us together, part two is a same sex session, part three opposite sex and lastly all four together again.
These sessions take place in London or Devon. We can travel but this will be subject to further charges.
The cost for the initial consultation is £100.
Thereafter (if we conduct further work together) we charge an hourly rate of £125 per hour.
